Abinee and Apex-Brasil Accomplish Brazil’s Commercial Mission – Argentina 2019

The Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (Abinee) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), with the support of the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires, organized the Brazil-Argentina Trade Mission for the electrical and electronics sector, between September 09-14. The event aimed to promote bilateral trade between the two countries through the development of trade alliances between Brazilian manufacturers and potential Argentine buyers and partners. Argentina is the third largest export destination for the Brazilian electrical and electronics sector.

The synergy between Abinee, Apex-Brasil and the Brazilian Embassy in Argentina also made it possible to hold a technical seminar and a business round at the Embassy, between September 9 to 10.

The Brazilian delegation also participated in the BIEL Light + Building trade fair, between September 11 to 14, in which it was visited by the Brazilian ambassador to Argentina Sergio Danese, by Minister Claudio Garon and Secretary Maurício Bernardes, who also work at that embassy.

In total, 25 Brazilian companies in the electrical and electronics sector were present at the commercial mission: Anilag, Balestro, Brilliant, Clamper, Coelmatic, Cerâmica Santa Terezinha, Fame, Firemac, Induscabo, Iniva, Isoelectric, ITB, Kaffa, KRJ, Montrel, Nansen, Olivo, PPC Santana, Rio Trafo, TDK, Tecsys, Tramontina, Tsea, Varixx and Vicentinos.

During the business round, 215 meetings were held, attended by 29 buyers, and an estimated US$ 6.4 million in business with an additional Us$ 21.9 million for the 12-month period.
