FIEE 2019: Business Round: 438 Meetings and US$ 17 Million business expectation

From July 23rd to 26th, 56 Brazilian companies and 17 international buyers related to the electric, electronic and lighting sectors participated in the buying project, São Paulo, during FIEE 2019.

Supported by Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos (Apex-Brasil), Abinee carried out the buying project that generated 438 meetings between Brazilian exporters and international buyers, business of US$ 120,000 and business expectation for the next 12 months totaling US$ 17 million.

The initiative was partnered by Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Iluminação (Abilux) through LuxBrasil export project, which contributed to international buyers and exporters linked to the lighting sector and in synergy with the electrical and electronic sector. It also had the support of Reed Exhibitions, with disclosure to the exhibitors of the fair.

“FIEE 2019 buying project was a great opportunity to bring together players from the Apex-Brasil ecosystem and Sector Projects, bringing together the exhibitors with the support of Reed,” noted Abinee International Relations manager, Giselle Hipólito.
According to her, the initiative had highly qualified international buyers from countries such as Bolivia, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru.

About Electro-Electronic Brasil

Electro-Electronic Brasil Program is the result of the agreement between ABINEE and Apex Brasil – (Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos), with the objective of promoting foreign trade in the electronic and electronic sector. The initiative contemplates several commercial promotion actions, such as participation in fairs, missions, business roundtables, market studies, buyer project, among others.
